A Bright Future… Seriously

February 18, 2010

I was psyched for the iPad prior to the anticlimactic announcement in early February. My post-announcement emotions were mostly negative — I was disappointed that the iPad wasn’t as amazing as it was supposed to be according to my imagination. The past few weeks have seen a resurrection of my belief that the iPad is a wonderful, game changing technology that will ultimately improve our ability to socially interact with the phenomenally diverse cultural offerings of the world.

If you would like a less vague explanation of my newly established optimism, lets go down to the tavern and talk about all this over a drink. We’re living in exciting times, and I’m happy to be here!

mossing_site

Recently completed a website for Adria East Mossing, LLC, a law firm in Chicago.

Adria Mossing was the sort of client you dream about. She chose the mock-up I hoped she would, she gave me complete creative control, and she delivered the content for her site quickly! WOW! I’ll consider myself lucky to ever encounter a client like her again.

It was a fun project to work on for another reason too. I always aim to produce original photographs for a new website, and mossinglaw.com was the first site I did since picking up the Canon 5D. I was so excited that I even rented a few L series lenses for the shoot.

corduroy

Paris’s mom sent her a new pair of golden corduroys. Paris loves them, looks very good in them, and boy do they photograph well!

Life is good. Happy Friday.

I just finished a new website for Front Street Cantina, a Mexican restaurant with four locations in metropolitan Chicago including Geneva, Naperville, Plainfield and Wheaton.

This was the first time that I have worked with a food industry client. The Latin color palette isn’t a color-space I usually visit, but it was a fun project and I think it turned out well. The project went a long way in strengthening my PHP skills.

FFFFound invitation

ffffound

I would love to have a FFFFound account so that I could more easily manage all the good stuff I find in the cloud.

If you or someone you know has a spare FFFFound invite, I can offer candy and a photographic print in return.

Fingers crossed…
